Job Title: Sr. Finance Cost Analyst

Position Summary:
The Sr. Cost Finance Analyst is responsible for the ongoing analysis of process constraints, target costing projects, margin analysis, and tracing costs back to underlying activities. The Sr. Cost Finance Analyst must also construct and monitor those cost-effective data accumulation systems needed to provide an appropriate level of costing information to management for the Olam Spices and Vegetable Ingredients, based out of Fresno, CA.
Position Responsibilities:
Planning, studying, and collecting data to determine costs of business activities
Analyzing data collected and recording results, against plan and forecast
Recording cost information for use in controlling expenditures
Analyzing audits of costs and preparing reports
Maintaining Cost Accounting System
Supports monthly close process
Budgeting and forecasting
Maintains perpetual inventory, monitor cycle and/or physical inventories, and report and analyze variances
Risk and Compliance reporting
Conduct product line analysis for management review
Work with both internal and external teams
Qualifications/ Education/Experience/Skills:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel); SAP experience preferred
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Must have a strong Cost system background and have excellent analytical skills; sound understanding of accounting principals
Ability to accurately prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
Ability to handle multiple tasks accurately and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
Ability to build relationships and work well in a team oriented environment
Must be able to work with diverse team across geographies
